 Dear Elder Everts,

I will never forget the shine you exuded and the example you were in our time together in England. You were not just a wonderful Assistant to me personally but a wonderful leader and example to all! You have a gift with people and an ability to love and care and your influence touched many lives especially our own family. May God bless you at this special birthday time and above all, please know that Sister Munday and I loved you from the moment we met you and always will. 

It was a pleasure and honor to be your Mission President and Mission Mum.

HAPPY 40th BIRTHDAY FRED!!! Dear Dear Fred, How in the world can you be 40???!!! I’m SO glad that you were born and came into our lives. I’m not exactly sure of the day I actually got to meet you back in the fall of 1993. I do know that you met our Greg very shortly after we moved into our house on the now infamous Franwood Drive. Fred, In my eyes, you are the greatest human being on the face of the earth. You are my greatest and truest friend. You have a gift of helping others have the confidence to be brave, be themselves, laugh and see the beauty in everything around them. The lens in which you view life is contagious and makes others want to be around you all the time.  I learn from you everyday and you are the smartest person I know. The kids will often ask me questions about science, history, physics, math... that I don't know the answer to. I don't know why they keep asking me when most of the time I don't have answers for them. But I always say, "Dad would probably know, ask him" and almost every time, you know the answer. Or on the rare occasion you don't, you invite the kids to learn with you. You're such a dynamic, interesting person who seems to know so much.
