Happy Birthday, Fred!

I know I haven’t told you, but you really have made a measurable difference in my life - from tormenting my childhood to modeling the best ways to “show up” for the people you love. Your humor is unmatched, and you always give the best gifts. You are such an example of what it means to be hard working, generous, and humble. Your support and help, both emotionally and financially, was instrumental in bringing Stella home to us, and I’ll never have the words to express my gratitude properly. I’m so thankful to have you in my life! My hope is that you get to know how much you mean to everyone around you, and that you feel loved and celebrated this year and always! Happy birthday!

HAPPY 40th BIRTHDAY FRED!!! Dear Dear Fred, How in the world can you be 40???!!! I’m SO glad that you were born and came into our lives. I’m not exactly sure of the day I actually got to meet you back in the fall of 1993. I do know that you met our Greg very shortly after we moved into our house on the now infamous Franwood Drive. Fred, In my eyes, you are the greatest human being on the face of the earth. You are my greatest and truest friend. You have a gift of helping others have the confidence to be brave, be themselves, laugh and see the beauty in everything around them. The lens in which you view life is contagious and makes others want to be around you all the time.  I learn from you everyday and you are the smartest person I know. The kids will often ask me questions about science, history, physics, math... that I don't know the answer to. I don't know why they keep asking me when most of the time I don't have answers for them. But I always say, "Dad would probably know, ask him" and almost every time, you know the answer.
