Fred, 

You have been a part of us since long before your debut in this world. We talked about you for 8 years and 5 pregnancies before we finally met your stellar personality.

You are entertaining! From the 2-year-old running into walls for fun, to "Who's on First?", to "Vive la Revolution", to "Joseph" and "The King and I", and now to the MOST motivational trainer and leader, you really are fun to watch!

I love how you love and care for your people. You shared your love with the people of Great Britain and Wales on your mission. You make friends everywhere. I wish I were more like you.

The best thing to see, though, is to watch you be the world's best husband and Daddy. To have a front-row seat to see your littles grow in the sunshine of your attention and affection is the best blessing to us, as your humbled parents. We tried to love our kids the best way, but you run rings around us in that department. We truly are so thankful you came to our family. I can't imagine a world without you, but I hope I never have to live in it.

HAPPY 40th BIRTHDAY FRED!!! Dear Dear Fred, How in the world can you be 40???!!! I’m SO glad that you were born and came into our lives. I’m not exactly sure of the day I actually got to meet you back in the fall of 1993. I do know that you met our Greg very shortly after we moved into our house on the now infamous Franwood Drive. Fred, In my eyes, you are the greatest human being on the face of the earth. You are my greatest and truest friend. You have a gift of helping others have the confidence to be brave, be themselves, laugh and see the beauty in everything around them. The lens in which you view life is contagious and makes others want to be around you all the time.  I learn from you everyday and you are the smartest person I know. The kids will often ask me questions about science, history, physics, math... that I don't know the answer to. I don't know why they keep asking me when most of the time I don't have answers for them. But I always say, "Dad would probably know, ask him" and almost every time, you know the answer. Or on the rare occasion you don't, you invite the kids to learn with you. You're such a dynamic, interesting person who seems to know so much.
