    You are such a wonderful husband and father to your family.  Over the years we have seen great advancements and success your life especially with your goals and career choices. We were impressed that you were able to graduate from college while working full time and supporting a young family. Your generosity toward others has been noted by us on some occasions and truly you have a charitable attitude to those who are less fortunate. We are so glad that you make our daughter Kirsten happy as she says you are her "best friend"!  Ethan, Caleb, Asher, and Macie are so blessed to have a dad that is interested and involved in each of their lives and supportive of their interests, goals, and always celebrate their achievements. We know that your future will be bright, and you will always be successful in whatever you strive to accomplish. Congratulations on turning forty years old!

HAPPY 40th BIRTHDAY FRED!!! Dear Dear Fred, How in the world can you be 40???!!! I’m SO glad that you were born and came into our lives. I’m not exactly sure of the day I actually got to meet you back in the fall of 1993. I do know that you met our Greg very shortly after we moved into our house on the now infamous Franwood Drive. I know that you met Greg when he walked down Franwood to join your game of hide and seek. I also know that you welcomed him and became best friends very quickly. Fred, In my eyes, you are the greatest human being on the face of the earth. You are my greatest and truest friend. You have a gift of helping others have the confidence to be brave, be themselves, laugh and see the beauty in everything around them. The lens in which you view life is contagious and makes others want to be around you all the time.  I learn from you everyday and you are the smartest person I know. The kids will often ask me questions about science, history, physics, math... that I don't know the answer to. I don't know why they keep asking me when most of the time I don't have answers for them. But I always say, "Dad would probably know, ask him" and almost every time, you know the answer.
